Alkindi, Efmody, Locoid, Plenadren (hydrocortisone butyrate) is a small molecule pharmaceutical. Hydrocortisone butyrate was first approved as Locoid on 1982-03-31. It is used to treat adrenal insufficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, contact dermatitis, facial dermatoses, and foot dermatoses amongst others in the USA. It has been approved in Europe to treat adrenal insufficiency and congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
