Rogaine, Theroxidil (minoxidil) is a small molecule pharmaceutical. Minoxidil was first approved as Loniten on 1982-01-01. It is used to treat alopecia and malignant hypertension in the USA. It is known to target ATP-sensitive inward rectifier potassium channel 11, ATP-sensitive inward rectifier potassium channel 8, and prostacyclin synthase.
