Pentoxifylline
Pentoxil, Trental (pentoxifylline) is a small molecule pharmaceutical. Pentoxifylline was first approved as Trental on 1984-08-30. It is used to treat brain ischemia, cerebral malaria, diabetic angiopathies, diabetic neuropathies, and gangrene amongst others in the USA. It is known to target adenosine receptor A2b and cAMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 4A.
