An inhibitor of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase It has a role as an antimetabolite, an EC 2.7.7.49 (RNA-directed DNA polymerase) inhibitor and an antiviral agent. It is an organic molecular entity, a nucleoside analogue and a dihydrofuran. It is functionally related to a thymine. |
